English Bay, Vancouver gets some of the most gorgeous sunsets in the summer; I was fortunate enough last year to live on the 21st floor of Columbia Place in the West End and most every night, I had a sunset that most people wish they could see.
Quick shot taken during one of the evenings from the 2004 Festival of Lights in English Bay, Vancouver from the 21st floor of Columbia Place in the West End. Though there was a building blocking off the view of the fireworks barge, the majority of the fireworks would peak over the top of the buildings along on the beach giving the most spectacular 'front seat' view of the fireworks without the crowds!
