Heavenly Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love cooking almost as much as I do eating. Here's my tested recipe for absolutely perfect chocolate cookies, especially if you like slightly softer, chewier type of cookies. Whipping up a batch of cookies is so fast and the best part is, you know exactly what's going into them.

Heavenly Chocolate Chip Cookies

3/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla
2 medium to large eggs

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Cream together butter and sugar until well blended, then add the vanilla and eggs; mix well. When the wet ingredients are well mixed, add all the dry ingredients and mix. Drop in tablespoon-size balls onto thick baking pans and bake at 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes.

If you like your cookies chewier and softer, underbake by 1-2 minutes.
